The Motorola i580 isn't pretty, but it packs an excellent feature set and decent call quality in a durable design.
Also saw that the throwback yellow I580 is now available.
I am new to this community and would like to make some friends to learn some tips and some tricks with this nextell i580.
After that I took my phone to a Sprint store to get my contacts transferred from my Nextel i580 to my new Instinct.
I just upgraded from my Nextel I580 to the IC902 powersource phone.
I was thinking of getting an i580, but that phone's a little long in the tooth (I believe it was released in '06).
Straight-on view with clamshell closed has basic shape very similar to Nextel i580 or i560, with PTT and volume buttons in same place, although other external buttons and charging port are in different places.
I had the exact same prob with my i580, called customer service numerous times and they could do nothing.
I use the bejesus out of the phone currently an i580.
You can either get a PowerSource device that works off of both networks or wait for the QChat phones which are Sprint phones that feature Nextel Direct Connect (sadly though, none of those options feature a phone as rugged as the i355 or i580).

I have been through every menu and every setup option in my i580 and I cannot figure out how to get rid of this:
